Meet our Kids-Coaches
does your kid dance around the house all day, too? Then let your child discover the world of creative movement and give him the opportunity to follow the flow of inspiration.
I am Anita Hernadi and I was born and grew up in Hungary. At the age of three I started rhythmic gymnastics, which laid the foundation for my later career. After seven years in rhythmic gymnastics I turned to synchronized swimming. At the same time I started dancing and worked as a dancer at the theatre and toured Sarajevo.
After arriving in Berlin I continued my career and education as a professional dancer, with the main focus on musical, hip hop, jazz and contemporary dance, traditional Hungarian folk dance, tap dance, ballet. I studied dance and movement therapy in the NeuRaum Berlin and am currently training at Eurolab E.V. (European Association for Laban/Bartenieff Movement studies). I regularly work together with various artists of the "free scene".
Since 2018 I have been teaching children between 6 and 11 years the magic of dance. Amongst others, I work for the SV Tora, the Hans-Rosenthal Primary School, the Jeanne Barez Primary School and the Mendel Primary School.
It has been proven that children who discover their love for dancing at an early age benefit from it in later life. Self-confidence, a feeling for rhythm and tact and a healthy physicality, just to name a few examples.
Free movement and simple little tasks help children to discover their bodies, surroundings and emotions, while at the same time developing language, musical skills and coordination.
Apart from strengthening courage, imagination and teamwork, the main aim is for the children to have a lot of fun.
No previous knowledge is required for my childcare.
"Through dancing I became free: dance is another world. The river takes you to a level where you lose yourself."
I'm happy to provide individual care services as well.
